Athleisure Challenge Active Wear Design Competition, one of the leading competitions of the active wear world, brought together young textile engineers and designers who want to showcase their superior design skills. The final was crowned with a glorious night where creative collections were introduced and successful teams were rewarded.
In the national Athleisure Challenge Active Wear Design Competition, organized by 10 textile and ready-made garment exporters' associations with the support of the Ministry of Commerce and the coordination of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the ReCos team became the first, the second GenA, and the third Loop team.
Pınar Taşdelen Engin, Chairman of Uludağ Textile Exporters' Association (UTİB) and Nüvit Gündemir, Chairman of Uludağ Ready-made Clothing and Apparel Exporters' Association (UHKİB) hosted the award ceremony, Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) President Mustafa Gültepe, Bursa Ticaret and İbrahim Burkay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Industry (BTSO), the presidents of the Textile and Ready-made Clothing Exporters'Association throughout Turkey, the members of the Board of Directors of UTİB and UHKİB and many guests attended.

The host of the night, Pınar Taşdelen Engin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of UTİB, said, “Athleisure fashion, consisting of the words 'Athletic' meaning and 'Leisure' meaning time, has become a trend that is increasingly in demand today, combining style and comfort perfectly. In this competition, I was very proud to see how our teams transformed this trend into innovative and sustainable designs. The originality we see in the collections, the technical skills and the new breath they bring to fashion show how important promising talents are for the industry.”
